Volleyball Recap: Conway Springs Gets the Win

Conway Springs hadn't done well against Flinthills recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Cardinals had just enough and edged out the Mustangs 2-1. For the Cardinals, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 win the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Conway Springs' offense was headlined by Reece Johnson and Macie Hartman, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Lanie Hartman and her 23 assists. Lairen Pauly controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Conway Springs' victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Flinthills, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Conway Springs has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Remington on the 6th. As for Flinthills, they will head out to square off against Chase County on the 13th.
