Volleyball Recap: Chico Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Chico can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Pleasant Valley Vikings on Tuesday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Kaycee Konopka paced Chico's offense, picking up five kills. Konopka got some help from Lyla Taylor and her eight assists. Finally, Amy Armstrong kept Chico's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Chico now has a losing record of 16-17. As for Pleasant Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-13 record this season.

Chico does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pleasant Valley, they will head out to face off against Foothill at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
