Basketball Recap: Trinity Prep Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

If Geneva wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Trinity Prep, they should've done a better job of containing Garland Ingram III. The Trinity Prep Saints were the clear victor by a 68-44 margin over the Geneva Knights on Friday thanks in part to Ingram III, who went 10 for 14 from beyond the arc on his way to 34 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Trinity Prep's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11. As for Geneva, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4.

Trinity Prep will look to defend their home court on Monday against Titusville at 6:00 p.m. As for Geneva, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 73-44 loss against Seabreeze on the 11th.
