Baseball Recap: Lindsay Wins Going Away Against Orosi

Lindsay won the last time they faced Orosi and things went their way on Tuesday too. Lindsay blew past Orosi 11-0. The result was nothing new for Lindsay, who have now won seven matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Tito Cortes was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. He has become a key player for Lindsay: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 6-10-1 otherwise. Nate Lopez was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Lindsay and bumps their season record up to 10-11-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Orosi, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-13-1.

As of now, neither Lindsay nor Orosi have any future games scheduled.
