Soccer Recap: Wayland Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wayland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 6-2 to the South Christian Sailors. While losing is never fun, Wayland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 193rd, while South Christian are ranked 40th).

Wayland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5-2. As for South Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-1 record this season.

Wayland will be playing at home against Thornapple Kellogg at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Christian, they are taking a road trip to challenge Wyoming at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
