Volleyball Recap: Rutland Comes Up Short

The Rutland Hurricanes came up short against the Putnam County War Eagles on Thursday and fell 2-0.

While Rutland was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23.

Rutland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Putnam County, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rutland will host Howard at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Putnam County, they will challenge Westside at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
