League recap: Horseheads jumps in national rankings thanks to big week

Horseheads went from 1378 to 898 in the national rankings since last week after going 2-0 in the past seven days. The Blue Raiders are currently sitting at No. 17 in the state of New York, thanks to an overall record of 12-7.

First place in the league belongs to Horseheads, which has compiled a 12-7 overall record to go with its 8-2 league record. Elmira Free Academy/Southside is 5.5 games back and in second place with a 4-9 league record.
