Soccer Recap: Central Baptist Christian Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Central Baptist Christian was not quite Families Instructing Students HomeSchool's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Families Instructing Students HomeSchool Hawks by a score of 2-1. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Hawks when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Central Baptist Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Winter Haven Christian at 5:30 p.m. on March 25th. As for Families Instructing Students HomeSchool, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-0 win against Cornerstone Academy on the 7th.
