Oasis had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Island Coast Gators 61-15. The Sharks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 24 points or more this season.

Leading Oasis to victory were Brynn Stambaugh and Tessa Bexfield. Stambaugh dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten assists, while Bexfield posted 21 points along with five boards and three steals. Stambaugh is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last five games she's played. Ellye Henkle was another key player, putting up 11 points and three steals.

Oasis has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. As for Island Coast, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-11.

Oasis will head out to take on LaBelle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oasis is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.3 points per game this season. As for Island Coast, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against East Lee County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
