Soccer Recap: Marcus Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Marcus Marauders didn't have quite enough to beat the Hebron Hawks and fell 2-1.

Marcus' goal came courtesy of Owen Gall, who's now up to four this season.

Marcus' defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Hebron, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Coming up, Marcus will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Braswell at 7:30 p.m. Marcus is facing Braswell at the right time seeing as Braswell is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Hebron, they are taking a road trip to square off against Guyer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Guyer's last five contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
