Softball Recap: Oak Hill Red Devils vs. Richwood Lumberjacks
Oak Hill had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victor by a 14-1 margin over the Richwood Lumberjacks. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Red Devils as it put an end to their 14-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Sadie Branch was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Amy Hollandsworth, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Coming up, Oak Hill will be playing in front of their home fans against Princeton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The game will give Princeton their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Richwood, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Roane County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
