Soccer Recap: Veritas Academy Comes Up Short

Veritas Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mount Calvary Christian Chargers. That's two games in a row now that Veritas Academy have lost by just one goal.

Veritas Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Mount Calvary Christian, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4-1.

As of now, neither Veritas Academy nor the Chargers have any future games scheduled.
