            Softball Recap: Hampton Christian Academy Warriors vs. Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks        
        
		
        
        
            If Hampton Christian Academy was feeling good  fresh off their  13-2 takedown of StoneBridge last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors came up short against  the Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks on Thursday, falling  14-4. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.
 Hampton Christian Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Reese Krantz, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.  Jayla Crosby was another,  going 1-for-3 with two  runs and one  triple.
Hampton Christian Academy now  has a losing record of 2-3. As for Atlantic Shores Christian,  the  win  got them back to even at 2-2.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hampton Christian Academy will head out to  challenge Catholic  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Crusaders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.4  runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Greenbrier Christian Academy  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Gators will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  victory, something the Seahawks surely won't give up without a fight.
