While Kolbe-Cathedral's win against Joel Barlow wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 13-12 victory over the Falcons on Monday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Cougars' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Kolbe-Cathedral's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-8. As for Joel Barlow, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
