 If the Gaffney Indians were riding high  off their  4-0 takedown of the Pinewood Prep Panthers last Sunday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Gaffney ended up on the wrong side of a  rough 6-1 walloping at the hands of Gray Collegiate Academy on Wednesday. The loss was Gaffney's first of the season.

 Adam Richards, who's now up to five this season.
 Gaffney's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1-1. As for Gray Collegiate Academy,  the  win  made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-1-1.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gaffney will  take on York at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. York's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, they will head out on the road to  square off against  West Florence at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
