Benet Academy won the last time they faced Jones and things went their way on Thursday too. The Redwings didn't even let the Eagles on the board, marking the Redwings' second-straight 2-0 shutout. The win was familiar territory for the Redwings, who have now won four matchups in a row.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17.

Reed Hefley paced Benet Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Hefley got some help from Jacob Olejnik and his 13 assists. Olejnik was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Benet Academy's record is now 21-6. As for Jones, they dropped their record down to 11-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Benet Academy will host St. Patrick at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Jones, they will be taking part in a tournament against Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
