Basketball Game Preview: Ramona Bulldogs vs. Fallbrook Warriors

Ramona has gone 10-0 against Fallbrook recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Ramona Bulldogs will welcome the Fallbrook Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

On Friday, Ramona needed a bit of extra time to put away Escondido. They walked away with a 66-58 win over the Cougars.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ramona to victory, but perhaps none more so than Daniel Penner, who posted 18 points along with seven assists and seven steals. The dominant performance gave Penner a new career-high in steals. Eric Lopez was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 14 boards.

Meanwhile, Fallbrook was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 67-62 to Rancho Bernardo.

Ramona picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 7-13. As for Fallbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.

Everything came up roses for Ramona against Fallbrook when the teams last played back in February of 2022, as the squad secured an 88-46 win. In that contest, Ramona amassed a halftime lead of 51-23, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
