Baseball Recap: White Oak Takes a Loss

White Oak lost against Dixon back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Vikings lost 8-2 to the Bulldogs. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

White Oak saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Baxter, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base marked the first that Baxter snagged this season.

White Oak's record now sits at 2-8. As for Dixon, their record is now 5-7.

Looking ahead, White Oak will be playing at home against Northside - Jacksonville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings are facing the Monarchs at the right time seeing as the Monarchs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Dixon, they will head out on the road to challenge New Bern at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
