Baseball Game Preview: Kountze Lions vs. Warren Warriors

For the second straight game, Kountze will face off against Warren. The Lions will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Kountze's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Warren's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Kountze was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Warren on Tuesday. The Lions put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 10-2 victory. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by seven runs or more this season.

For Warren's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Brocato, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Warren's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-12. As for Kountze, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-10.
