Softball Recap: Harrold Takes a Loss

If Harrold was riding high fresh off their 13-3 takedown of Munday last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Harrold came up short against the Northside Indians on Friday, falling 21-8. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-5 last Tuesday.

Abrianna Albineda made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole four bases while going 1-for-4. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Lilly Welch also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Harrold's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Northside, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Harrold will take on Knox City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northside, they will challenge Munday at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
