The South Pointe Stallions will head out to face off against the Camden Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
As a matter of fact, South Pointe put up the most points they have all season last Friday. They blew past A.C. Flora 35-12. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Stallions' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina football rankings (they are ranked third, while the Falcons are ranked 26th).

R.J. Brown was his usual excellent self, rushing for 140 yards and one score on only 14 carries. Dailan Duncan did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 170 receiving yards.
South Pointe's run defense was locked in: A.C. Flora could only muster three yards per carry. While two picked up at least eight total tackles, Darien Judge stood above the rest. He forced one fumble, made eight total tackles, and defended eight passes. South Pointe didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 9.6.
South Pointe's defense didn't let the opposing QB, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for 3.5 sacks. Leading the way was Brysen Ginn with two. Judge was another major factor on D, forcing one fumble, making eight total tackles, and defending eight passes.
Meanwhile, Camden never let their opponents score on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 43-0 victory over Dreher. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won three in a row.
South Pointe's record is now 4-1. As for Camden, their record now sits at 5-1.
Everything came up roses for South Pointe against Camden in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 64-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Stallions since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
