Baseball Preview: North Sanpete Hawks vs. Judge Memorial Catholic Bulldogs        
        
		
            The North Sanpete Hawks will square off against the Judge Memorial Catholic Bulldogs at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. North Sanpete will be strutting in after a  win while Judge Memorial Catholic will be coming in after a  defeat.
North Sanpete lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Summit Academy, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's   contest. North Sanpete never let Summit Academy get on the board and left with  an   11-0  victory  on Saturday. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Hawks.

 Hudson Smith made a splash no matter where he played. He  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  strikeouts. He was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances. Those  runs marked the first that  he  scored this season.
 In other batting news,  Aaron Costello was  incredible,  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances with one  home run, three  RBI,  and one  stolen base.  Wyatt Williams also deserves some recognition as  he  got his first  hits of the season.
 North Sanpete  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .538. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Judge Memorial Catholic came up short against  Morgan on Saturday, falling  17-6. The loss was the Bulldogs' first of the season.
  Kohl Donelson was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring three  runs and  stealing  Two bases. while going 2-for-2.  Dominic Fassio was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
 Having lost for the first time  this season, Judge Memorial Catholic  fell to 2-1. As for North Sanpete,  the  win  got them back to even at 2-2.
 North Sanpete suffered a grim  14-6 defeat to Judge Memorial Catholic  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2021. Can North Sanpete avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
