Flag Football Recap: Gateway Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Gateway's offense. They were beaten by the Horizon Hawks 53-0 on Monday. The Olympians lost against the Hawks in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 32-0 score last time.

Gateway's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Horizon, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Gateway will take on rival Mountain View at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Horizon is set to challenge their familiar foe Northglenn at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Hawks 11.6, the Norsemen 9.1) so any points scored will be well earned.
