The Manual Thunderbolts pushed their score all the way to 69 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They received a tough blow as they fell 86-69 to Adams City. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (58), Manual still had to take the loss.

Defeat or not, Manual got some senior leadership from Marquell Marquez and Jovan Collins-Falcon. Marquez scored 21 points along with two steals, while Collins-Falcon. scored 17 points along with five assists and two steals. Another player making a difference was Zubayr Carpenter, who scored nine points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Adams City to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dajon Jones, who scored 16 points along with five assists and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jones has scored all season. Jalen Mckinnies was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Manual will head out on the road to face off against Kent Denver at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kent Denver has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,605 points over their last 19 matches. As for Adams City, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Gateway at 7:00 p.m. on February 8th. Adams City knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight matchups -- so hopefully Gateway likes a good challenge.
