Softball Recap: Shaker Beats Saratoga Springs for Their Fourth Straight Win

Shaker strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks. That's more bragging rights for the Bison, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Abagael Taylor, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jezabella Gray, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Shaker's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Saratoga Springs, they moved to 3-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Shaker is set to take on their familiar foe Averill Park at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Saratoga Springs will challenge rival Niskayuna at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
