Football Game Preview: St. John's vs. Houston Christian

St. John's will challenge Houston Christian on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Neither St. John's nor Houston Christian could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.

St. John's ended up a good deal behind Episcopal when they played last Friday, losing 7-26.despite the loss, St. John's saw an underclassman step up: Sophomore George Caldwell picked up 52 yards on the ground and threw 2 TDs In fact, with nine tackles Humphreys was a force on both sides of the ball.

Meanwhile, Houston Christian received a tough blow as they fell 7-27 to St. Mark's. Houston Christian were down by 0-27 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

St. John's took their contest against Houston Christian the last time the two teams met by a conclusive 42-21 score.
