Golden View Classical Academy had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt STEM School Highlands Ranch on Wednesday. The Sentinels put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 3-0 victory. For the Sentinels, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Spartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12, 25-15.

Samantha Duren paced Golden View Classical Academy's offense, picking up four kills. Duren got some help from Jane Wheaton and her 11 assists. Jocelyn Le controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Golden View Classical Academy now has a winning record of 7-6. As for STEM School Highlands Ranch, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.

Golden View Classical Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Vanguard Classical East on the 13th. As for STEM School Highlands Ranch, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Loveland Classical at 5:00 p.m. on the 20th.
