Shorecrest Prep waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the IMG Academy Navy Ascenders 4-2.

Shorecrest Prep saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Edward Sax, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Shorecrest Prep's record is now 6-7. As for IMG Academy Navy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shorecrest Prep will host Lakeside Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for IMG Academy Navy, they will be playing at home against West Jessamine at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
