Soccer Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Timnath's Ninth in Last Ten Outings

Timnath extended their postseason success on Thursday against Kent Denver. They skirted past the Sun Devils 1-0. The win was all the more spectacular given Timnath's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 41st, while Kent Denver are ranked sixth).

Timnath's one-goal win came courtesy of Lily Eisbrener, who's now up to 17 this season.

Timnath is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-4-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 47 goals over those ten matchups. As for Kent Denver, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 16-3 record.

Looking ahead, Timnath will challenge Colorado Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Colorado Academy will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Timnath surely won't give up without a fight. Kent Denver does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
