For the first time in his career, Jason Carter scored a rushing touchdown on Friday. He punched in one rushing score, helping propel Lake Travis past Akins by a score of 48-0. We think that's the best game he's posted since October 10th, when he threw for 95 yards and one TD while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 33 yards.

Looking ahead, Carter and Lake Travis will square off against Austin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will pit Carter up against the Maroons' star QB Alijah Jablon.
