Soccer Recap: Hamden Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hamden lost against Xavier back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Green Dragons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. While losing is never fun, Hamden can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings (they are ranked 60th, while Xavier are ranked ninth).

This is the second loss in a row for Hamden and nudges their season record down to 3-5-6. As for Xavier, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Hamden will head out to take on Wilbur Cross at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Xavier, they will square off against Cheshire at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
