Kearney was the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over Buena Vista on Saturday. Kearney haven't had any issues with Buena Vista recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Lincoln Northeast ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Lincoln Northeast who was credited with the win. Lincoln Northeast got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to Columbus' zero. Zane Al Jabery had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Lincoln Northeast got from the refs.

Lincoln Northeast now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Kearney, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
