Rustburg came into Thursday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Heritage Pioneers on Thursday. The Red Devils not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0).

Rustburg walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-8, 25-20.

Laila Bigham paced Rustburg's offense, picking up eight kills. Bigham got some help from Payton Lewis and her 25 assists. Lewis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Rustburg now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Heritage, their loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-16.
