Softball Recap: Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Takes a Loss

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 13-1 to the Satellite Scorpions, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Tigers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Scorpions since on Thursday.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleigh Schmoll, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Satellite, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.

Looking ahead, Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy will square off against St. Mary's at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Satellite, they will head out on the road to challenge Vero Beach at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
