Basketball Recap: Washburn Takes a Loss

Washburn lost against Wisdom back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Washburn Beavers fell to the Wisdom Pioneers 44-38. The Beavers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Washburn's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Wisdom, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.

When Washburn and Wisdom next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Washburn will try to stop Madawaska's 12-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wisdom will take on Hodgdon and their seven-game winning streak at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
