Volleyball Recap: Chaminade Takes a Loss

After flying high against Bishop Alemany on Friday, Chaminade came back down to earth. The Eagles fell 3-1 to the Marymount Sailors on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Sailors: they've now lost three in a row.

Chaminade couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Marymount a tough time in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 30-28, 19-25, 25-21, 25-13.

Chaminade's loss dropped their record down to 19-15. As for Marymount, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 35-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Sailors beat Chaminade by a score of 3-0 on Tuesday.
