Basketball Game Preview: Princeton Tigers vs. Providence Academy Lions

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Princeton Tigers challenge the Providence Academy Lions at 10:30 a.m. on Friday... One thing working in Princeton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Princeton turned things around against Pierz on Friday. They blew past the Pioneers 87-61. The match marked the Tigers' most dominant win of the season so far.

Meanwhile, Providence Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 93-62 defeat at the hands of Holy Family Catholic. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 295th, while the Fire are ranked 127th).

Princeton's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Providence Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
