If St. Stanislaus wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played West Marion, they should've done a better job of containing Braxton Albritton. The Trojans blew past the Rock-a-Chaws 47-14 on Thursday for which the team can thank Albritton, who threw for 272 yards and four TDs while completing 93.8% of his passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of West Marion's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-3 otherwise.

West Marion has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.5 points over those games. As for St. Stanislaus, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Looking ahead, West Marion will be playing at home against Port Gibson at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. The Trojans will be up against the Blue Waves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. St. Stanislaus does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
