Soccer Game Preview: West vs. Dixie

The West Panthers will venture away from home to face off against the Dixie Flyers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

West managed to keep up with Judge Memorial Catholic until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Panthers came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 5-0. The defeat continues a trend for West in their meetings with Judge Memorial Catholic: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Dixie kept a clean sheet against Canyon View on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Falcons. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Mataylee Williams and Addison Winters scored both of Dixie's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Dixie's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for West, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
