Volleyball Recap: Circle Beats North for Their Fifth Straight Win

Circle had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the North RedHawks. The Thunderbirds were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the RedHawks, so the Thunderbirds were just returning the favor.

Circle never let North on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22.

Gracie Tucker paced Circle's offense, picking up nine kills. Tucker got some help from Brianna Paul and her three assists. Avery Wartick controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Circle's win bumped their record up to 20-10. As for North, they now have a losing record of 15-16.

Circle has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Eudora on the 11th. As for North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Conway Springs on the 11th.
