Football Recap: Minden Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Minden can now relate to. They lost 35-14 to the Wossman Wildcats on Friday. If the Crimson Tide were looking for revenge after losing 26-11 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Even if they lost, Minden's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Davion Mims, Nekeya Harden, and Jeremiah Jones, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Minden's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-6. As for Wossman, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-5.

Minden does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wossman, they will venture away from home to challenge Plaquemine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Green Devils have now posted at least 31 points in their last seven matchups.
