Basketball Game Preview: Fairview Eagles vs. East Carter Raiders

Fairview is 0-7 against East Carter since February of 2019 but things could change on Wednesday. The Fairview Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the East Carter Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Fairview is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past Hannan to the tune of 54-19 last Monday.

Meanwhile, East Carter waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 54-50 W against the Vikings.

East Carter's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points over those games. As for Fairview, their win bumped their record up to 4-18.

Fairview was dealt a bruising 67-11 defeat at the hands of East Carter in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Fairview was down 37-7.
