Volleyball Recap: Phil Campbell Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Phil Campbell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Haleyville Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bobcats of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Phil Campbell was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 25-17.

Despite the loss, Phil Campbell still got an impressive performance from Ragan Moss, who had 19 digs. Moss also served an ace, marking her first of the season.

Phil Campbell's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Haleyville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Phil Campbell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Deshler on the 2nd. As for Haleyville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hatton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
