North Point is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of O'Fallon. The Grizzlies fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1. The Grizzlies' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Austin Ewens paced North Point's offense, picking up eight kills. Ewens got some help from Tyler Egbert and his 24 assists. Egbert was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Among those leading the charge was Niyam Ketan Patel, who had 11 digs and one assist. That's the most digs he has posted over his last six games. Max Westphal also deserves some recognition as he served his first aces of the season.

North Point's defeat dropped their record down to 23-6. As for O'Fallon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 19 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season.

North Point has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Hazelwood West on the 5th. As for O'Fallon, they will face off against Belleville West at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
