Football Game Preview: Rosehill Christian Eagles vs. Sacred Heart Indians + How To Watch

The Rosehill Christian Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Sacred Heart Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Rosehill Christian will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any points on October 3rd, then bounced right back against Covenant Christian on Friday. The Eagles took their contest with ease, bagging a 42-14 victory over the Cougars. The Eagles pushed the score to 42-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cougars cut but never quite recovered from.

Rosehill Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Matthew Peyton led the charge by throwing for 199 yards and three TDs while completing 80% of his passes, and also punching in one score on the ground. The dominant performance also gave Peyton a new career-high in passer rating (160.4). Caleb Davila helped Peyton out on the ground, picking up 49 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 43 yards and one score.

Rosehill Christian was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 205 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Sacred Heart gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against St. Paul by a score of 28-20. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won three in a row.
