Basketball Recap: Lake Havasu Comes Up Short

Lake Havasu was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 36-32 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lee Williams Volunteers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 39-29 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2023.

Lake Havasu's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Lee Williams, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-17.

Looking ahead, Lake Havasu will head out to face off against Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lee Williams, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Bradshaw Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bradshaw Mountain has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
