Baseball Recap: Upstate Eagles vs. Spartanburg Christian Academy Warriors
Upstate came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-3 to the Spartanburg Christian Academy Warriors. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Jesse Beckwith was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Jackson Childers was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one double and one RBI.
Upstate's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Spartanburg Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
