Basketball Recap: University School of Nashville Gets Big Victory over Higher-Ranked the Webb School

University School of Nashville lost to The Webb School two weeks ago, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The University School of Nashville Tigers walked away with a 46-37 win over The Webb School Feet. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Tigers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Feet are ranked 30th).

University School of Nashville's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-10. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for The Webb School, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the University School of Nashville Tigers challenge the Grace Christian Academy Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Grace Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully University School of Nashville likes a good challenge. As for The Webb School, they will take on Franklin Road Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
