Summit had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Franklin Admirals. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 last Wednesday.

Maggie Kalisz paced Summit's offense, picking up ten kills. Kalisz got some help from Amanda Shanahan and her 24 assists.

Summit's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Franklin, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-7.

Summit wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Marquette on the 20th. As for Franklin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Dobyns-Bennett on the 20th.
