Baseball Recap: Friday's Win Is Lake Travis' 14th in Last 16 Outings

It's playoff time, and Lake Travis had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Atascocita Eagles on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Cavaliers: when they faced off against the Eagles on Thursday, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Lake Travis has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-11-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Atascocita, they moved to 32-11-2 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Lake Travis will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
